The Race Face Turbine Pedals is the most concave flat pedal designed for climbing, mobbing descents and tackling the most demanding terrain where riders are all-in on grip. The Turbine pedal features a 3mm deep concavity, creating a locked-in feel by cradling your foot in a pocket. Paired with pin grip, this design offers superior hold compared to slightly concave or flat pedals. While some manufacturers focus on adding tall pins or concavity in one direction, Turbine incorporates concavity in all directions. Its platform is thinnest at the center and thicker at the edges—front, back, inboard, and outboard—ensuring a secure, stable connection from every angle.

Where do we stack up?

The Turbine is 17% more concave, 27g lighter, and only 5% thicker than the Deity T-Mac. While pedal choice is personal, we believe Turbine is the superior option. It hits the perfect balance for concavity—too much can lead to ground clearance issues, added weight, and discomfort, while too little compromises the locked-in feel.
